Third Attribute:  Faith

1.         Even if we have the desire to please God, it is impossible to please God without faith. Heb. 11:6

2.         Like humility and a desire to please God, faith is a gift from the Father. Eph. 2:8-9

3.         Hearing God's word produces faith. Rom. 10:17

4.         Believing the truth of God's word will not profit you unless you mix it with the faith that the word of God produces. Hebrews 4:2; James 2:19

5.         Faith impacts our actions and our words. James 2:17; 2 Cor. 4:13a

6.         Faith is a shield of protection in the wildfire. Eph. 6:16

7.         Our faith is in Jesus Christ, not in worldly wisdom or man's abilities and talents. 1 Cor. 2:4-5

8.         Conflict wildfires test and refine our faith. 1 Peter 1:6-7

9.         When we focus on the wildfire rather than seek the Lord's presence, we can wander away from the faith. 1 Tim. 6:10

10.       Seeking the Lord's presence encourages us to respond to conflict by making faith choices that are grounded in our relationship with Jesus Christ, rather than making choices motivated by the circumstances or emotions generated in the wildfire.
