Should I begin in the Associate or Bachelor Degree Program?
CLI's Leadership Excellence School allows students to begin in the Associate Degree program and then progress into the corresponding Bachelor Degree Program afterward OR to begin in the Bachelor Degree Program. However, the Bachelor Degree programs are built upon the requirements of their corresponding Associate Degree, so if a student does not have equivalent credits for the ones required in the corresponding Associate Degree, the student may need to take some of the courses required for the corresponding Associate Degree even though they chose to be enrolled in the Bachelor Degree Program. Here are some considerations when deciding whether to start in the Associate Degree Program or head straight to the Bachelor Degree Program:
- The total degree program administrative fee cost is the same in either route. If you complete the Associate Degree first and then the Bachelor Degree Program, the total cost for both programs is $3,000 ($1,500 for each administrative fee). If you bypass the Associate Degree, the total cost for the Bachelor Degree Program will be $3,000.
- If you like the idea of completing the Associate Degree first and reaching that milestone and then completing your Bachelor Degree program, you may prefer completing the Associate Degree Program and its capstone and then the Bachelor Degree Program and its capstone. Each capstone is set up to help guide your progression through the program and this may be a great option for someone new to college study, returning to formal education after a long break, or who likes having the Associate credential also as a milestone in their educational endeavors.
- If you have a decent number of applicable previous college credits transferring into CLI's Leadership Excellence School, you may prefer bypassing the Associate Degree Program and completing any remaining required courses from the Associate level in the Bachelor Degree Program, starting with enrollment in the Bachelor Degree Program capstone.
