“Has anyone, indeed, stayed with you without attesting the excellence and firmness of your faith? Without admiring your sensible and considerate Christian piety? Without broadcasting your spirit of unbounded hospitality?”


Heart of Hospitality

A Church can have a great vision no matter what size, but if the church is not characterized by hospitality the church will not grow sustainable.


The Biblical Case

Romans 12:13 Share with God’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality.

1Pet. 4:9 Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling.

3John 8 We ought therefore to show hospitality to such men so that we may work together for the truth.


Qualification of an Office Bearer

Common thread including all office Bearers.

Titus 1:8 Rather he must be hospitable, one who loves what is good, who is self-controlled, upright, holy and disciplined.


Corporate Culture of Hospitality

Train your connectors to introduce new people to existing attendees.

2. Mobilize some leaders to do exactly what you did.

3. Recognize the hospitality leaders.

Romans 16:23 Gaius, whose hospitality I and the whole church here enjoy, sends you his greetings.


Start Programs out of Hospitality

Hospitality driven programs

  1. Meet with a Leader and talk about a possible program or ministry.
  2. Identify people that leader will have to their house or go out to eat with.
  3. Guide the hospitality to focus on relational glow that proceeds vision glue.
  4. Each meeting of the ministry or program intentionally has mixing time.
  5. Revitalize homes again and connect people to meet in their homes
  6. You can do programs relationship driven with purpose.
