The Relationship Engine of Correction and the Heat of Competition

1.         Every position of authority has a basic knowledge/skill set.

2.         To fulfill your ministry mission and calling, it is essential to understand the importance of continued growth and learning. 2 Tim. 2:15

3.         To teach/learn the basics of any position of authority, you must learn to give and receive correction.

4.         The power of the Correction Engine is the power to grow. Correction is an opportunity to improve your capacity to serve. Prov. 3:11-12

5.         The fuel that keeps the Relationship Engine of Correction running in a healthy direction is respect and responsibility. Correction fueled by disrespect and irresponsibility will result in dysfunction and unhealthy team relationships. Eph. 6:1-9

6.         The Heat of Competition ignites when pride interferes with correction.
