If you are failing a class or are worried that you will not be able to complete your assignments on time, you are able to request dropping a class. However you are only allowed to drop a class if you have completed two quizzes or less in that particular class. If you have completed more work than this, but you still wish to drop this class, the only thing you can do at this point is stop working on this class until your enrollment ends. This will not affect you negatively and you will be able to enroll in the course at a later date.

We know that sometimes life can get busy or difficult and your studies can not always be your priority. We want to help you succeed and the last thing we want is for you to fail classes because of an emergency. For this reason we ask that you let us know with at least a two week notice before your enrollment ends if you want to drop a class. We also ask that you do not enroll in more classes than you think you can handle. You can be in up to five classes at a time, but this can easily become overwhelming and you may find yourself dropping courses frequently. We recommend that you carefully consider what is your current availability and time commitment to studies so that you can select a manageable course load for your situation.
