Video Transcript: General Navigation

Hi there. My name is Abigail and I'm a staff member here at Christian Leaders. In this video, I'm going to walk you through logging into your student account and navigating the learning site. 

So let's hop right over to my computer screen. The easiest way to log back into your student account is to head over to christianleadersinstitute.org. In the top right corner, you'll see here the option for student login, click on that and it will take you to the login page, you can type in your email address and the password you set when you created your account. 

I highly recommend that you bookmark this page so you can easily get back to it in your browser, as well as saving your email and password whether that's saving it to your browser or writing it down so that you always have it on hand. 

As you log in, you'll be taken to your student dashboard. At the top here you'll see our announcements and updates blocked. Here you can keep in touch with the Christian leaders news, the launch of new courses, and other important updates that will keep you right in stride with what's going on here at Christian leaders. 

As you scroll down, you'll reach your guidance and credential panel. This is one of the most important features on the learning website. Here you can explore the credentials offered at the Institute, the Alliance and the College. When you click on a credential, it will drop down the list of required courses for that credential. 

They will automatically be hyperlinked so you can quickly navigate to that course and enroll in it, I highly encourage you to check out all the different options available to you here and what credential might be a fit for you as you continue on with Christian Leaders. 

As you can see here, when a credential is completed, it will light up to indicate that when you complete this Getting Started course you will automatically earn your first credential in the institute CLI entrance award. 

As we head down further on the student dashboard, you'll see your course overview. This is where you can see which courses you're enrolled in, and your progress in them. 

As you work further in the course this progress bar will indicate your percentage of completion. 

The next section is your CLI grades for any full length course once you have completed it, it will populate here, along with the semester you completed it in the year, the name of the course and your grade up top here, you can see your overall grade point average and you can quickly download your transcript. 

This block shows the many courses you have completed. And as we reach the end of your student dashboard here you'll see some helpful quick links, as well as links to our websites, ways you can get in contact with us and links to our social media. 

So let's head back over to the top menu. Here you'll see your profile this is this drop down here will bring you right over to your student profile, your grades, your preferences, and it's the fastest way to log out. 

Also at the top menu here is the option for courses. As you click this, this will take you to the list of all the free courses available to you through Christian leaders. 

These are the different categories and you can drop those down to explore the class list. Let's click into a course here. This is what it will look like when you reach a course and to enroll. 

Once you've read the course overview you're sure you want to get started, you will just click the green enroll me button confirm that and it's as easy as that, you'll be enrolled in the course and you'll see your enrollment deadline right there. Heading back to the top menu.

Here's a quick link to our Christian leaders store. And I also want to point out the side menu here which you can pop out by clicking those three lines. It'll show you which course you're currently in, you can navigate to your grades and easily head back to your dashboard.
