Jesus Ministry Multiplying Organization 33AD

Fund the Multiplication of Disciples through Free Ministry Training

Henry Reyenga Jr

If Jesus had a 501(c) 3 religious nonprofit, what would his cause be?

  • He healed the sick.
  • He fed thousands.
  • He cared about the poor.
  • He gave more than a cup of cold water. He gave living water.
  • He preached the gospel of the kingdom.

No doubt, Jesus ministered in Judea. But his primary work also included multiplying disciples through teaching. He was so bold in that pursuit that he tied the multiplying of disciples to his leaving.

I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. (John 14:12)

Jesus was a Rabbi – a teacher, a walking school, a free ministry training school supported by his means and the generosity of first-century donors. His goal was to both do ministry and to teach and show his students how to do ministry. Then they could teach and guide their students in how to do ministry.

As Jesus started his ministry, he supported himself as a carpenter. He was a bi-vocational Rabbi (Teacher). He was not a Rabbi from a wealthy family that supported his education and ministry. Instead, he was the son of a carpenter and became a grassroots Rabbi. This itinerant teacher started his ministry at 30 and self-funded it initially.

When he started his ministry, people even took offense at his boldness.

Isn’t this the carpenter? Isn’t this Mary’s son and the brother of James, Joseph, Judas, and Simon? Aren’t his sisters here with us?” And they took offense at him. Mark 6:3

Imagine working as a carpenter until age thirty. Then you start a self-funded ministry. You go to your relatives, and they will not support you. Jesus understood.

Jesus said to them, “Only in his hometown, among his relatives and in his own house is a prophet without honor.” Mark 6:4

Jesus Starts a Free Ministry School

After Jesus is given a final test in the wilderness, he starts ministry school. His mission was to multiply ministers to send out after he died on the cross and rose from the dead. These ministers were the first apostles, which means sent out ones.

Sometimes we think that since Jesus is God, he could do divine things to solve ministry problems. I used to think that. He was preaching and needed to feed the crowd—no budget for that. What does he do? He performs a miracle and feeds five thousand with plenty of leftovers. He and his disciples have a problem with taxes. Jesus deals with their tax problem by depositing a four-drachma coin in a fish’s mouth. (Matthew 17:27)

We do not often relate to how Jesus ran a ministry that included supporters. But he did.

Supporting the Ministry Training and Sending Cause

Interestingly, women were the first recorded people who financially supported Jesus and donated to free ministry training and minister development. Chapter 8:1-3 of Luke shows the “About Page” of Jesus’ Nonprofit Ministry.

Chapter 8:1-3

Ministry to Others (Luke 8:1)

Jesus traveled about from one town and village to another, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom of God.

Teaching Ministry to Future Ministers (Luke 8:1b-2)

The Twelve were with him, and also some women who had been cured of evil spirits and diseases: Mary (called Magdalene) from whom seven demons had come out;

Joanna, the wife of Cuza, the manager of Herod’s household; Susanna; and many others. These women were helping to support them out of their own means.

Luke 8:1-3 is a fascinating snapshot of Jesus’ multiplying ministers’ organization as he fulfilled his earthly mission. This snapshot inspires every generation and has taken many forms in the last 2000 years. Christianity is about ministers doing ministry and reproducing ministers who will multiply ministers to serve in the church and community.

Minister Multiplication

Christian Leaders and its programs aim to help ministers multiply ministers who will reproduce more ministers. So we are into launching generations of ministers who produce generations of ministers.

Christian Leaders has three primary programs:

  • Christian Leaders Institute
  • Christian Leaders Alliance
  • Christian Leaders College

Christian Leaders Institute

Christian Leaders offers tuition-free online discipleship and ministry training in English, Spanish, French, Chinese, Russian, and Ukrainian through the Christian Leaders Institute.

In English, we offer 165 courses and mini-courses on many ministry topics.

Free Online Training Creates Easy Multiplication Opportunities

Scenario 1

Ministers can send called Christians to advance their ministry training without tuition worries.

Scenario 2

Called Christians who find us on the internet can begin their online training. We request they find a mentor who will tie their studies to an experienced minister and be adopted as a disciple as soon as possible. This process has worked very well. Often these existing ministers refer many future ministers to receive their training through Christian Leaders programs.

And then:

The ministers trained at Christian Leaders start making called Christians aware of the opportunities. As a result, over 560,000 study accounts have been made at Christian Leaders Institute in over 200 countries.

Fund More Ministers

The mission of Christian Leaders is to multiply more ministers. Vision partners, including students and kingdom partners, support us. The budget is just under two million dollars.

The people the Lord is bringing for this training usually survive on low incomes. Almost half the Christian Leaders budget is supplied through donations and fees from students with study accounts at Christian Leaders Institute. The rest must come from kingdom donors.

This is Your Tool to Multiply

Christian Leaders is your tool to multiply ministers. Your donations are producing more multiplying ministers. Your contribution will train ministers and open the door to many more ministers.

Keeping this opportunity tuition-free is the key to free reproduction. Will you invest in a concept for multiplying ministers that has been around since Jesus?

Christian Leaders Alliance (CLA)

Another program of Christian Leaders is the Christian Leaders Alliance. The

Christian Leaders offers grassroots minister credentials through the Christian Leaders Alliance.

As a global religious society or denomination, Christian Leaders Alliance (CLA) is an ecuministry organization that serves credentialed ministers who serve in ministry in our growing minister network.

This religious organization allows its credentialed ministers to hold dual minister credentials. So, for example, someone can be credentialed with the Christian Leaders Alliance and have standing in another denomination or religious society.

CLA has developed a program for ministers in different ordination roles. All roles are ordained clergy roles, but we reference different statuses to reflect the different training levels and numbers of endorsements.

Thousands of Licensed and Ordained ministers now comprise the clergy ordination network.

Christian Leaders College (CLC)

CLC offers both Associate and Bachelor degrees in Divinity, Chaplaincy, and Christian Leadership with specializations in various areas such as ministry, business, and philosophy.

With CLC’s academic partnerships, these degrees can easily be transferred into Master’s or other undergraduate programs at other institutions.

Partners includes such Institutions as Liberty University, Ohio Christian University, Charis, Calvin Seminary, Northern Baptist Seminary and more.

Conclusion

Christian Leaders support every called Christian to multiply as a minister. Volunteer, part-time, and career bound ministers can study and advance at our three primary programs.  When you give to Christian Leaders, you multiply more disciples and continue the work of this example of a 2023 “Jesus Ministry Multiplying Organization.”
