1. Who do you know whom God might be calling to be a pastor? Pray about whether you should suggest the idea to them. 


2. If you are studying this book with other pastors or students, tell each other about your calls to ministry. 

a. How are they similar? 

b. How are they different? 

c. What can you learn from this? 


3. If you are part of a denomination or group, what is their process for becoming a pastor and being put in charge of a church? 

a. If you are preparing to become a pastor, are you on track with that process? 

b. If you are preparing to become a pastor and you are not part of such a denomination or group, what is your plan for being recognized as a pastor and put in charge of a church? 


4. What person or group has authority to provide oversight to your pastoral ministry? 

a. How is that exercised? 

b. What do you understand to be the Biblical basis for that? 

c. How far are you willing to submit your ministry to that authority? 

d. If there is no such person or group, how will you know if you get off track?
