Communication: Foster open and honest dialogue, listening first and speaking with kindness.

Forgiveness: Extend grace and forgiveness as the foundation for reconciliation.

Community: Involve family, friends, and faith community to witness and support the commitment.

Deciding for Engagement: A Guide for the Couple 

Unity: Encourage couples to make decisions together, under God’s guidance.

Prayer: Prioritize prayer in the decision-making process, seeking clarity and peace.

Confirmation: Look for God’s confirmation through His Word, peace in your hearts, and counsel from wise believers.

Ecclesiastes 4:12 - Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.
