    Endorsement Levels Class

    Welcome! This class will be the vehicle through which you establish your Endorsement Level at Christian Leaders. The enrollment period for this class will not expire. It will permanently appear on your dashboard so you do not need to re-enroll. 

    Endorsement Status means that you are recommended as a Christian who walks with God and exhibits the calling and character of an active leader or minister. 

    What does the Endorsement Status mean for the Programs of Christian Leaders Ministries? 

    Christian Leaders Alliance - There are three minister programs at Christian Leaders Alliance. The Commended Minister, the Licensed Clergy Minister, and the Ordained Clergy Minister. All three programs require different Endorsement status levels.  

    The Commended Minister requires one endorsement, the Licensed Clergy Minister ordinarily requires two endorsements, and the Ordained Clergy Minister requires three endorsements. 

    Christian Leaders College - Endorsement Level 3 is required for admission into the college. 

    Why are we doing this? It is Biblical! 

    This pattern of recommending and endorsing leaders was practiced in the New Testament. For example, Barnabas recommended Paul as a Christian leader to the Apostles. 

    But Barnabas took him and brought him to the apostles. He told them how Saul on his journey had seen the Lord and that the Lord had spoken to him, and how in Damascus he had preached fearlessly in the name of Jesus.   Acts 9:27

    We also saw this pattern in Roman 13:1 when Paul recommended Phoebe as a "Deacon Minister," who was the letter carrier of the book of Romans. Paul gives a brief recommendation of Phoebe this way:

    I commend to you our sister Phoebe, a deacon of the church in Cenchreae.  I ask you to receive her in the Lord in a way worthy of his people and to give her any help she may need from you, for she has been the benefactor of many people, including me.   Roman 16:1-2


    Further benefits: 

    1. You will receive confirmations that you are called to ministry. Someone other than yourself sees your calling and potential as a Christian leader. 
    2. You will receive more support in your calling journey. Your endorsers can walk alongside you in your ministry training. They can vouch for you in the community and become a prayer partner. 
    3. You take your training at global CLI and make it personal into your circle of relationships. CLI becomes local to you and others in your life. 
    4. You will often spread ministry training to others as they endorse you. Often endorsers begin taking free courses. Now you have a study team moving forward. 

    Prerequisites

    Completion of the Christian Leaders Getting Started Class (100 CLI Point 1 CLC Credit) or the Christian Leaders Connection Class (300 CLI Points or 3 Credits)

    Assignments

    1. Complete the readings and watch the videos. 

    2. Submit the Endorsement Level Assignment that is required for the specific program that you are pursuing. You are not required to complete all three Endorsement Level Assignments in this course, you only need to complete the one that is needed for the program you are interested in.

    Note: Endorsement Status Levels are not required for study at Christian Leaders Institute. But is required for the program recognition at Christian Leaders Institute, Christian Leaders Alliance, and Christian Leaders College.

  • Endorsement Level One - Assignment: Gather One Endorsement

    This Assignment is for Endorsement Level One (1). 

    Endorsement Level One is required for those pursuing:

    • Commended Status in the Christian Leaders Alliance
    • Endorsement Status Level One recognition to appear on their Christian Leaders Institute credentials
    • Licensed Christian Wedding Officiant credentials

    To be given the Endorsement Level One Level, you must gather one Endorsement. 

    Who has seen you have a walk with God and your heart for ministry? 

    Each Endorsement you provide gives you more confidence as a Christian Leader. Will others endorse your calling?

    You must obtain one (1) letter of endorsement from someone who has observed your Christian character. At Endorsement Status Level one your endorsement can come from:

    • A Ministry leader or a Mentor Minister 
    • A spouse or a friend if unmarried 
    • A non-family member that knows you and respects you

    This endorsement is a key component of your Endorsement One status at Christian Leaders Institute, College, and Alliance.

    Please only submit one endorsement for this assignment.

    If you have a total of two endorsements, do not complete this assignment, complete the Endorsement Level 2 Assignment instead. 

    If you have a total of three endorsements, do not complete this assignment, complete the Endorsement Level 3 Assignment instead. 

  • Endorsement Level Two - Assignment: Gather Two Endorsements

    This Assignment is for Endorsement Level Two (2). To be given the Endorsement Level Two Status, you must gather two Endorsements. 

    If you already submitted an endorsement in Endorsement Level One, you must re-submit that endorsement into this assignment, along with an additional endorsement to make a total of two endorsements. Please submit both endorsements at once. 

    Endorsement Level Two is required for those pursuing:

    • Licensed Clergy Status in the Christian Leaders Alliance
    • Endorsement Status Level Two recognition to appear on their Christian Leaders Institute credentials

    Each Endorsement you provide gives you more confidence as a Christian Leader. Will others endorse your calling?

    This Assignment is for Endorsement Level Three (3). To be given the Endorsement Level Three Status, you must gather a total of three Endorsements. 

    If you already submitted an endorsement in the Endorsement Level One or Two Assignments and would like to use those endorsement/s again, you must re-submit it into this assignment. Please submit all three endorsements at once. 

    Endorsement Level Three is required for those pursuing:

    • Ordained Clergy Status in the Christian Leaders Alliance
    • Admission into the Christian Leaders College
    • Endorsement Status Level Three recognition to appear on their Christian Leaders Institute credentials

    • One from a deacon, elder, or pastor.

    This endorsement is a key component of your Endorsement One status at Christian Leaders Institute, College, and Alliance. 

    Please submit a total of 3 endorsements for this assignment.

    If you have three endorsements, you do not need to complete Endorsement Level One and Two Assignments.
