CORE VOCAL WITNESSING VALUES

1 Corinthians 14:8, "Again, if the trumpet does not sound a clear call, who will get ready for battle?”


So important to sound a clear call on these values:

1. God's Word is true

Psalm 12:6, "And the words of the Lord are flawless, like silver purified in a crucible, like gold refined seven times.”

            John 17: 17, "Sanctify them by the truth; Your Word is truth.”

2. God wants everyone forgiven and free

      Isaiah 55:1, "Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters.”

      Hebrews 7:25, "Therefore, Jesus is able to save completely those who come to God through Him.”


3.God punishes misbelievers 


Exodus 34:6-8, " 6And he passed in front of Moses, proclaiming, 'The Lord, the Lord, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness, 7 maintaining love to thousands, and forgiving wickedness, rebellion and sin. Yet he does not leave the guilty unpunished; he punishes the children and their children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation. 8 Moses bowed to the ground at once and worshiped.”

2 Thessalonians 1:8-9, "8 He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the Gospel of our Lord Jesus. 9 They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might.”

4.God provides the one way to forgiveness

      Ephesians 2:8,9, "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and           this not from yourselves.  It is the gift of God.”

      I Corinthians 12:3, "No one can say, 'Jesus is Lord,' except through the Holy       Spirit.”

     5.God uses people to lead others to Him 

Acts 16:14, "The Lord opened her heart to respond to Paul's message.”

      Romans 10:14, "And how can they hear without someone preaching to         them?”

6. Vocal witnessing is different from the gift of evangelism

            Acts 1:8, "And you shall be my witnesses.”

      I Peter 3:15, "Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks   you to give the reason for the hope that you have."

7.The results are not our responsibility   

Deuteronomy 29:29, "The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may follow all the words of this law.”

Luke 13:34, "Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were not willing.”

8. Vocal witnessing is a matter of obedience

      Matthew 28:19, "Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations.”

      Acts 26:19, "I was not disobedient to the vision from heaven.”

9.  Vocal witnessing is not a specialized activity

      Matthew 28:20, "As you are going, make disciples.”

      Colossians 4:5, 6, "Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders. Make the     most of every opportunity.”
