AND FROM HERE?

ACCOUNTABILITY

Ecclesiastes 4:9-10, "9 Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: 10 If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up.”

DEVELOPING URGENCY

1. Study passages in the Bible like John 3,  John 4, Luke 15, Acts 2

2. Read books on how-to evangelism

3. Read biographies of people who have come to Christ

4. Specifically ask God for His heart to be your heart.

5. Memorize and pray over verses like the following:

John 4:34, "Jesus said to them, 'My food is to obey the will of                                        the One Who sent Me, and to finish the work He gave me to                                          do.'”

John 9:4, "As long as it is day we must do the work of Him Who                                   sent Me; night is coming when no one can work.

Romans 10:1, "My friends, how I wish with all my heart that                                         my own people might be saved.  How I pray to God for them.”

Jeremiah 9:1, "Oh, that my head were a spring of water and                                         my eyes a fountain of tears.  I would weep day and night for                                        the slain of my people.”

6. Intentionally work to understand unsaved people and their living.

7. Think through   your vocal witness being rejected.

8. Discuss with others what your life would be without Jesus.

GROWING

II Peter 3:18, "But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord.”

Luke 2:52, "And Jesus grew in wisdom.”

Acts 18:26, "They explained to Apollos the way of God more adequately.”

I Thessalonians 4:1, "Now we ask you and urge you in the Lord Jesus to do this more and more.”

We're in good company.

THINK OF OTHERS

Matthew 7:12, "12 So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.”

Knowing what you do, what if you weren't a Christian?

THINK OF OUR GOD

The Holy Spirit.

Ephesians 4: 30, "And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God.”

Jesus the Son.

Matthew 20: 28, "Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.”

God the Father.

Ezekiel 18:23, "'Do I take any pleasure in the death of the wicked?' declares the Sovereign Lord. 'Rather, am I not pleased when they turn from their ways and live?'”
