The Christian Leaders Alliance operates as a credentialing body under Christian Leaders Ministries, which is also known as the Christian Leaders Institute. This ensures your clergy credentials are founded on comprehensive ministry training. Here are the steps for obtaining the Licensed Funeral Officiant:

  1. Complete necessary ministry training courses:
    • Multiplying Christian Leaders (1 CDS Module).
    • Funeral Officiant Skill Course (2 CDS Modules).
  2. Achieve Endorsement Level One and become a member of the Christian Leaders Alliance. You are free to submit your endorsement at any point during the process. However, it must be submitted and approved prior to officially earning your credential.

Upon completing this program, you will be recognized as a Licensed Funeral Officiant by the Christian Leaders Alliance and will have the authority to:

  • Serve local churches, funeral homes, veterans' societies, and other organizations as a Funeral Officiant, Funeral Chaplain, or Funeral Minister.
  • Lead funeral services for both religious and mixed-audience gatherings.
  • Establish or assist with a MinistryBiz or a Soul Center that focuses on funeral services or related ministries.
